The Teaching & Preaching of True Story
Conversation with Paul VanderKlay on the nature of story telling, preaching, and receiving.
I’m really happy to publish my latest YouTube video with Paul VanderKlay, a long time internet friend and YouTuber. We spend a little over an hour talking about the nature of story as a “compression engine” and as a social technology. The power of story is such that it becomes an Experience Machine which connects us to the inner realities of outward signs.
Paul has his own channel with hours of shows ruminating on culture, faith, and the sense-making through the digital commons. Not only is Paul a great conversation partner, he’s become a true friend. His day job is as pastor to a small Christian Reform church in Sacramento California.
Please go on over to my channel on YouTube and watch the show HERE.
And if you like it, please retweet it, share it on the socials, and hit the like and subscribe buttons. I’m doing my best to connect to an audience I know is larger than the subscribers to this Substack. Cheers, and Godbless.
Really love your conversations with Paul! Thank you for your insights.
Common mistake, but it is "Christian Reformed" (as in Reformation), not "Christian Reform" (as in moral crusading).
